I have a Ph.D in political science from the University of Notre Dame and an MPA from Princeton University. I am a professor at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) and the general coordinator of the CLEAR Center for Latin America, also at CIDE. I am specialized in program evaluation, comparative social policy and public policy theory. With CLEAR, I have participated in various publications and capacity building activities to promote monitoring and evaluation and the use of evidence for development effectiveness in Mexico, Perú, Argentina, Colombia. Brasil, St. Lucia and Uruguay, among others.
