Haddis M. TAFESE
With extensive experience in leading the development and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems, Haddis possesses hands on field experience in the humanitarian and development sectors. He provided M&E related support to Health, WASH, Nutrition, Livelihoods, Agriculture, Protection, and Gender programs funded by key donors including USAID/OFDA, DFATD, DFID, ECHO and IrishAID. Currently, Haddis is working as M&E, Accountability and Learning Manager at Action Against Hunger (ACF) France in Sierra Leone. He worked as Freelance Consultant taking assignments of Trainings, Assessments, Surveys and Evaluations and served international NGOs including Oxfam (Spain), Save the Children (UK) and GOAL (Ireland) for the past 7 years. Assignments he assumed include Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning; Research; and Disaster Risk management.
Haddis is a fellow of Masters Degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid at the Humanitarian Aid Studies Center, KALU Institute. He holds a BSC Degree in Disaster Risk Management and Sustainable Development, and a Software Engineering Diploma. He demonstrated excellent analytical and problem solving skills to deal with operational challenges, programmatic audits, systematic tracking and analysis, and undertaking evaluations or leading evaluation teams. He understands the international humanitarian Quality and Accountability Standards and has experience of putting them into practice.
